Hall of Physics was also known as Old North Hall, and it was located directly north of Old Capitol. Published by the Bulletin of the State University of Iowa.
South Hall was built directly south of Old Capitol in 1863. It housed the Normal and Preparatory Departments, vocal and instrumental music, and campus literary societies. It was destroyed by fire in 1901.
