Description

Several individuals are working on this Homecoming lawn display of a large old fashioned out house. Beside the display is a sign that is partially obscured by on lookers. The visible part of the sign reads, "".Hole for the Tigers.""
Alumni first began returning to Iowa State for an official Homecoming in 1912. Since then, the celebration continues to entertain both young and old Iowa Staters, with traditional events, including tailgate parties, fireworks, lawn displays, ""Yell Like Hell"" cheering competition, and mass campaniling. Currently, the Student Alumni Association Leadership Council coordinates the efforts of hundreds of students, who volunteer their time to help Story County Habitat for Humanity build a house.

Description

A large potted plant figure is located near the Kappa Alpha Theta, sorority house. A sign in front of the display partially reads, ""ISC pots the "" A bicycle parked on the sidewalk hides the rest of the sign. A group of women standing near the display are talking to each other.
Alumni first began returning to Iowa State for an official Homecoming in 1912. Since then, the celebration continues to entertain both young and old Iowa Staters, with traditional events, including tailgate parties, fireworks, lawn displays, ""Yell Like Hell"" cheering competition, and mass campaniling. The two member wining team representing Chi Omega, Eta Beta Chapter Sorority appear on stage with WOI-TV personality Joe Adams. Adams, who is the master of ceremonies, is presenting the winners with a trophy. The women are dressed in costumes that resemble late 19th century athletic wear. One women is dresses in bloomers and a sailor middy blouse. The other woman is wearing knickerbockers, a stripped sport coat and bowtie.

This lawn display consists of a semi-reclining bare-foot male figure dressed in ragged pants, shirt and hat. His head rests against a liquor barrel. He is pointing a shotgun at a Tiger figure that is suspended by one ear from a goal post.
