Lauren Hagans anchors Baylor to a photo finish victory over Heather Dorniden of Minnesota in the Women's U/CD 4x1,600 meter relay. The Bears' winning time of 19:05.80 set a new Drake Relays record. Minnesota finished a scant .031 seconds behind.
Abe Jones (lane 6) coasted to an easy win in the Men's Invitational 400 meter hurdles with a time of 50.10 seconds. Crowd favorite Joey Woody (lane 4) finished fourth in his final appearance at the Drake Relays.
