This is a collection of photographs and documents from the Plymouth County Soil and Water Conservation District. It is a governmental unit of the State of Iowa which works closely with both the state and federal conservation agencies to create a more sustainable land environment for the region.
This collection shows the activities of local farmers developing soil and water conservation techniques starting in 1946 and ending with the celebration of its 50th Anniversary in 1996.
