Helping to bring Wounded to a poste de secours --The young woman in uniform is in the service of the American Committee for Devastated France. The camions of the committee were kept busy day and night after the launching of the Franco-American counter attack on July 18, supplying food, hot drinks, and hospital supplies to the wounded in the first field hospitals. The army recently placed the headquarters of the committee in Chateau-Thierry and has recommended to their care the peasants who are now living among the ruins, seeking ways of bringing in the harvest. .
