The Plymouth County Soil and Water Conservation District was organized on July 24, 1946. after the petition to organize was approved on May 16, 1946 and a referendum and election were approved on July 10, 1946.
The native grass that is being examined has never been cultivated. Mr. Williams uses good management on his native grass pasture and he has had good rresponse from fertilizing. This property is located 4 miles north of Sioux City, Iowa.
