Building built in 1870 by John Harberg. Business was originally Harberg & Luehsen. The "original" building was expanded in 1899 and became the southern portion of the Luehsen Undertaking & Furniture Building.
Henry Luehsen home on the corner of South Main Street and Van Buren Street in Garnavillo, Iowa. The house is still standing today (2018). Notice the three porches on the east side of the house and the four people and one pony in the photo.
This store was located on the west side of North Main Street. Marvin Luehsen is seated and Charles Engler is standing in picture. Prior to 1912 the business was called Luehsen & Kregel. Building to far left is Fred Walter Harness Shop.
Kuenzel Drug Store was also a Post Office and Stage Coach site. The building is located on corner of Main Street and Watson Street. The building is still standing today(2018) and is residential home.
