Engineering Shed or "Sheep Shed" was built by engineering faculty and students over the foundation of South Hall after the 1901 fire. It was later razed during construction of the new Physics Building.

East Hall, originally the University Hospital, was built in 1899 and is now called Seashore Hall. When the new General Hospital was built on the west campus in 1929, the older building became home to other University departments.
