Pictured is the smoldering remains of a 1907 fire in Garnavillo. The fire destroyed the Keehner Hotel, Garnavillo Independent Newspaper Office and Krasinsky Store on the East side of Main Street. The building standing in the middle of the photo is the Roebken-Kruger Store which was just north of the Keehner Hotel.
