Lee Running received a MFA in Sculpture at the University of Iowa in 2005, and received her BFA from Pratt Institute in 1999.
Lee Running's work poses the question: What if the floral prints of old wallpaper, were indeed the flora of an interior natural world? These patterns are embedded in the walls of our lives. Past generations have left them there, covering them with layers of paint, but what if the patterns were revealed, forced into the light, or allowed to grow wild?
