Richard received a M.F.A. in painting from the University of Massachusetts and a B.A. in art from the University of Iowa. He's been in numerous shows at Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis. Several of Richard's paintings have been selected by the U.S. Department of State Art in Embassies Program for loan to the U.S. Embassies in Berlin, Germany and Kalonia, Micronesia. Richard's work is in the collections of American Express Financial Advisers, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Norwest Corporation, Cargill Corporation, and Wells Fargo Corporation.
