John Chehak's unique style captures the essence of his Midwestern heritage. It is this style that he uses to express himself in images of American life and scenery."I'm particularly fond of the symmetry and beauty of buildings and structures, both rural and urban," he says. He has painted diverse subjects from urban New York, Chicago, and New Orleans to the sedate yet captivating elegance of rural America. John was born, raised, and currently lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
