Mitchell Squire was born in Natchez, Mississippi in 1959. In 2001, Mitchell earned a Master of Architecture from Iowa State University Graduate College. He has been an Assistant Professor at Iowa State University, as well as a Visiting Professor of Architecture at the University of Minnesota. Most recently, Mitchell has participated in the group exhibition entitled "New New 2" which appeared at the Karolyn Sherwood Gallery in Des Moines, Iowa earlier this year.
