Luther earned his B.F.A, M.A. and M.F.A. for Sculpture and Design from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He has held various teaching positions including Graduate Teaching Assistant for Sculpture and Design as well as an Instructor of Sculpture, both at the University of Iowa.
